A Small "Assignment" with Jamey Stillings

For the next two days, attentively observe each person with whom you come into contact. Look carefully at their expressions, gestures and body language. Be aware of how light falls on their face and body.

What makes them a unique and interesting person were they to be a subject in front of your camera? What special qualities would you try to portray? If you were to create their portrait, what would you do to make it an empathic, connective and powerful portrait?

If you feel so inclined, ask one of these people to be the subject of your creativity...
